A worldwide leader of machine tool solutions is hiring for aSoftware Controls Engineer to join its award-winning engineering team. TheSoftware Engineer will play a key role in developing PLC software for highprecision CNC machine tools.

The Software Controls Engineer will contribute to the team’ssuccess by:

·       Developing PLC software for Fanuc, Siemens, and Mitsubishi controlsfor high precision machinery

·       Ensures functionality of newly installed equipment and evaluatingsystems performance for customers

·       Strong background in developing PLC software for CNC controls

·       Install and integrate software systems

·       Creating documentation such as Functional Descriptions and Theoryof Operations

·       Ability to work independently as well as with multiple departments

·       Utilizes design software and equipment to perform engineeringtasks related to integrations of electrical interfaces of CNC machinery

The Software Controls Engineer will have:

·       5+ years experience with Fanuc PLC Ladder Logic design (Mitsubishiand Siemens a plus)

·       Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineeringor Controls

·       Strong understanding of turning, milling, and grindingmanufacturing processes.

·       HMI development and Windows (C++/C#) programming experience a plus

·       Strong knowledge of programming, automation, and computerhardware/software

·       Full cycle project experience from concept and design throughimplementation and integration

·       Experience with Real Time Motion Control

·       Ability to travel up to 50% (if remote based)

The Software Controls Engineer will be rewarded with:
