Quality Assurance Food Technician

We are looking to add a qualified, dependable quality assurance technician to our busy frozen food facility located in Sealy, TX. The best candidate will have at least 6 months of similar experience, have an eye for detail, and okay with a cold environment.

Responsibilities may Include:

• Perform sanitation reviews of all production equipment and notify a supervisor of any issues
• Perform environmental swabbing as required
• Perform Daily inspections in the production room
• Perform quality testing of food products such as physical analysis, pH and Brix when required.
• Assist with required documentation.
• Assist in food safety training.
• Assist in root cause analysis for consumer complaint.

Requirements:

• Three to six months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Attention to detail
• Reliable and consistent attendance
• Food safety experience required
• Be able to pass background check
• Be able to pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Okay with Cold Environments
• Live no more than 45 minutes from Sealy

PAY: $18/HR.

SHIFT: Monday-Thursday 5 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. Weekend availability when needed
