Quality Assurance Technician Sealy Texas

We’re looking to onboard a dependable self driven food safety tech looking to have an impact on our clients food operations in their Frozen Food Factory! Must be comfortable working in cold environments. If you live in or around Sealy area that is a plus as well.

Responsibilities may Include:

• Perform pre-operational sanitation review of the food processing environment and equipment.
• Perform environmental swabbing as required
• Weekly verification of sanitation effectiveness by ATP swabbing
• Daily verification of CCP
• Perform Daily GMP inspections in the production room
• Perform quality testing of food products such as physical analysis, pH and Brix when required.
• Assist with required documentation.
• Participate in internal audits and required inspections.
• Assist in food safety training.
• Developing required SOPs.
• Assist in root cause analysis for consumer complaint.

Requirements:

•  Three to six months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Food safety and microbiology experience preferred.
• Be able to pass background check and drug screening.
• Okay with Cold Environments.

PAY: $15/HR.

SHIFT: Monday-Thursday 10 a.m- 8 p.m.
