Snelling has an immediate opening for a Shop Assistant in the Kalamazoo area on 1st shift!

Position: Shop Assistant
Industry: Manufacturing/Production
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Location: Kalamazoo, MI 49001
Pay Rate: $14-$16/Hr
Available Shifts:
1st Shift: Monday-Friday

Shop Assistant Job Description:
This position will be responsible for assisting in completion of products per customer specification & applicable Company, industry, and/or regulatory standards including the completion of all required paperwork per Company policy and quality standard . The Shop Assistant should be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude.

Shop Assistant Requirements:

Excellent independent and team working skills.
Good math and measuring skills.
Good organizational skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively.
Ability to learn new things.
Excellent attendance and punctuality.

Shop Assistant Preferred Skills:

Mechanical skills with a basic understanding of fabrication process equipment & techniques
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
