Snellingis currently recruiting for a Press Brake Operator! Operator willoperate safety, efficiently and accurately any mechanical press brake whichforms sheet metal into various shapes for further production needs. 1st& 2nd shift openings
Pay for Press Brake Operator, depending onyears’ experience: $18.00-25.00/hr
Responsibilities and Duties for Press BrakeOperator:
- Read and understand drawings, sketches and blueprints
- To complete machine setup by selecting the proper dies for production and adjusting pressures accordingly.
- To know bend allowances for different metal gauges.
- Perform machine setups with proper die selection for particular gauge material.
- Form parts rapidly and efficiently while handling materials in a safe manner without damage.
- Stack, move or distribute parts on conveyor in a safe efficient manner.
- Observe all safety regulations and regulations and report any safety discrepancies.
- Keep work area clean and orderly at all times.
Qualificationsfor Press Brake Operator:
- Must be able to read and understand assembly drawings, sketches and blueprints.
- Must be able to accurately identify measurements of parts and determine require machine operations from the measurement.
- Occasional lifting and carrying of items weighing up to or over 50 pounds, with or without assistance
