Machine Operator
Snelling has an immediate opening for a 2nd and 3rd shift Machine Operator for a well-established company in the Irondale area. $16-17/hr to start, depending on experience, with pay increase to follow quickly based on performance.
Requirements for Machine Operator:
- Candidate's must have 1yr min Machine Operating experience, Plasma burning a plus
- Must have knowledge of Fabrication Blueprints
- Must have knowledge of Overhead Crane & Forklift Operation
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Must be able to lift up to 70lbs
Duties for Plasma Burner:
- Loading & unloading slag table
- Operation of CNC Plasma, daily routine checkups on the machine
- Checking programs for proper dimensions against Blueprints
- Writing up plate and drops, placing material in proper Stations.
- Operation of Overhead 15-ton Cranes & Forklifts.
- Loading and unloading plate trucks
