2nd Shift Press Brake Operator

Snelling is currently recruiting for a highly qualified Press Brake Operator for a well-established company in the Trussville area. The pay for this position will be $21.00-24.00/hr, and the shift will be 2nd with a 10% pay differential.

 Form parts to drawing specifications

 Select correct tooling for each job

 Select correct program for each part

 Create programs for new parts

 Perform assigned work to time standards and quality expectations

 Enter completed work orders into DBA database

 Participate in equipment preventative maintenance at the operator level

 Maintain work area and cleanliness of machine

 Use CNC controller to input information into machine

 Ability to understand blueprints

Ability to read measuring tape and other precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, angle finders and calipers

Demonstrated competency in basic shop math

 Ability to work with metric measuring system

 Ability to make routine decisions and use problem solving to resolve basic manufacturing issues

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

 High school diploma or GED certificate

 Minimum of 2 years experience in related field
