We are currently recruiting for a Water Restoration Technician (WRT) for our clients' fire and water restoration company.
This position is very satisfying, helping others during their time of need! Our client will provide you with training and a career track to success. They prefer someone that has 2-3 years in restoration, construction, or customer service role as well as Highschool GED or Diploma.
Monday through Friday with some weekends and pay is $16/HR.
Responsibilities Include
- Water Extraction
- Performing demolitions and construction tasks
- Adhering to company sales process to sell Champion services
- Perform Restoration Services using the proper setup procedures per IICRC & Carrier guidelines
- Removal of flooring, drywall, and any other material affected by water damage
- Drive a company vehicle that you will keep clean and organized
- Provide updates to your direct supervisor daily (Crew Chief)
- Uphold safety policies
- Lift 50 lbs or more - the ability to setup fans, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers, haul the debris
- Electronic documentation of company paperwork (as needed)
- Communicating professionally with customers and internal staff
- Representing Champion Restoration professionally and publicly interfacing with customers
Education & Experience
- 2-3 years in restoration, construction, or customer service role preferred
- WRT & ASD Certification(s) highly preferred
Minimum Requirements
- WRT certification within 90 days of employment provided by the client
Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
· On-call rotation monthly
· Ability to work overtime and be an on-call rotation
- Valid Texas driver’s license with no infractions in the last 3 years
- Clear criminal background and motor vehicle report
- Ability to pass a drug test and any random testing
- High School Diploma or GED
