Forklift/Cherry Picker Operator

We are looking to bring on 5 reliable and hardworking workers for the forklift/cherry picker operator position for our warehouse located in Katy, TX.

Experience in a warehouse environment is a plus, Forklift experience is a requirement. Forklift/Cherry Picker Operator must be okay with heights.

The purpose of Forklift/Cherry Picker Operator is to safely operate a stand-up cherry picker/Forklift as well as other powered equipment. Accurately process orders in and out of the warehouse.

Job duties for Forklift/Cherry Picker Operator:

• Use a cherry picker/forklift to place in addition to removing large items on warehouse shelves
• Keep track of shipments as well as product relocations within the warehouse
• Assist with other tasks as needed, including loading as well as unloading delivery trucks
• Operate both cherry pickers and forklifts to move product
• Packaging products for shipment
• Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Accurately record production by task and complete any necessary paperwork.
• Work safely and maintain a clean work environment.

Requirements:

• Need to live in or around Katy within no more than 30 minutes of Katy
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screening as well as background check (no felony of any type even deferred within the last 7 years, no violent felonies of any kind ever)
• Able to interview ASAP
• 1-3 years experience with cherry pickers as well as forklifts
•  High school diploma or GED (You will need to provide proof of Diploma or GED)
• Work safely at high levels
• Ability to lift cartons weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Must be okay with Repetitive physical work i.e (lifting, twisting, bending, etc.)
• Basic math skills.
• Good communication skills

Starting Pay: $13 per hour

Shift: Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm
