Machine Operators Needed- St. Petersburg/All Shifts!

MACHINE OPERATORS - St. Petersburg

ALL SHIFTS Available!

1st Shift: 6AM - 2:30PM

2nd shift: 2 PM - 10:30 PM

3rd Shift: 10PM - 6:30PM

Training is required on first shift (est. 4-6 weeks): 6 AM - 2:30 PM.

Experience not required - we are willing to train!!

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the daily operation and basic maintenance of the flatbed knitting machines; responsible for washing, drying, folding, and cutting of all knitted socks.

EXPERIENCE: At least 1 year manufacturing experience required. Previous mechanical experience and/or machine operation preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION:

  • Daily operation of Flatbed Knitting Machines; set‐up, troubleshoot, daily maintenance and cleaning of all flatbed knitting machines
  • Responsible for knowing/understanding all specifications to insure parts meet all quality standards
  • Responsible for washing/drying knitted socks
  • Performs minor repairs on flatbed machines as needed
  • Cross trained to set up all flatbed machines for all yarn types
  • Responsible for inventory of department
  • Responsible for keeping work areas clean and organized at all times
  • Responsible for completing inventory of finished goods and supplies when required
  • Mandatory participation in annual inventory as needed
  • Other projects and duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in plant operations or other related fields
  • Familiarity with plant tools and equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
