Assembler-Clearwater

General Responsibilities:

1. Performs a variety of assembly operations on complex units or sub-units of precision production parts and components involving precision fittings and tolerances.
2. Work is very meticulous and requires alertness and attentiveness.
3. Ability to use a wide variety of hand tools, semi-automated equipment, jigs, and fixtures.

Specific Responsibilities:

1. Ability to work from blue prints, operation sheets, sketches, wiring diagrams, or verbal instructions.
2. Maintains records as required.
3. Performs other related duties as directed.

EDUCATION, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE ANDABILITIES:

1. High school diploma or equivalent education, training, and/or related work experience.
2. 1-2 years of direct related work experience in a manufacturing environment.
3. Solid basic math skills.
4. Detail oriented / focused.
5. Must be able to work independently with minimal direction.
6. Ability to read and interpret operation sheets, routers, and blueprints a plus.
7. Use advanced measuring tools and test equipment
8. Records test data, applying statistical quality control procedures.
9. Evaluates data and writes reports to validate and indicate deviations from existing standards.
10. Create Shippers and Package product for shipment and stock

3. Completes Soldering, Polishing and Brazing when needed.
4. Constantly working with computers, test equipment, and calibration procedures that require long periods of sitting and concentration.
5. Could become stressful at times. Eyestrain could be a factor
