2nd Shift Junior Mechanic

2nd Shift Position 2.30pm to 11pm $17-$18

Junior Maintenance Mechanic is to work with and alongside the Maintenance Mechanics and become knowledgeable in the machine set-ups, minor repairs, and preventative maintenance on any/all equipment within our production/manufacturing facility.

This is a training position with the expectation that the person will advance to become a qualified Maintenance Mechanic.

• Assist with routine preventative maintenance on all production equipment.
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools to perform job functions.
• Ability to learn equipment change-overs and production line set-ups.
• Assist with basic troubleshooting of production equipment.
• Ability to write up parts requests to ensure an adequate inventory of critical spare parts on equipment.
• Ability to read and comprehend equipment manuals and diagrams where needed.
• Ability to complete written or digital record of work performed each day.
• Ability to perform maintenance tasks while maintaining clean & safe work areas.
• Support operations team initiatives in lean manufacturing, efficiency, and downtime reduction.
• Willing to work OT, on-call, weekends, and/or holidays as requested by management.
• All other duties as assigned by Manager and/or Management.

High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
