Shipping / Receiving / Inventory Clerk

·        Processing orders for shipment, including parcel and LTL shipments, by verifying, preparing, packaging and making shipment arrangements for finished goods

·        Loading and unloading of trucks and couriers using forklifts, hand dollies, pallet jacks, overhead cranes or by hand

·        Unboxing, verifying and stocking all received goods into the appropriate inventory or job location

·        Recording and data entry of all actions into Made to Manage ERP system by generating shippers, bills of lading, receivers or other required documents                                                           

·        Filing and routing all shipping and receiving paperwork and job documentation to the appropriate person or department

·        Retrieving, compiling, documenting and delivering parts to the appropriate department for parts, subassembly or equipment orders

·        Assembly of parts subassembly or equipment orders, using a variety of hand-tools and power tools

·        Maintain a clean and orderly environment in the shipping, receiving and inventory areas



Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

·        Must have a high school diploma or equivalent certificate

·        Ability to understand, read, and follow instructions in the English language

·        Ability to interact with peers in a positive, professional and productive manner

·        Capable of working independently in a fast-pace environment with solid communication skills

·        Must possess above average computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office products, UPS WorldShip software and ERP/MRP systems                                                                        

·        Must have experience with hand tools, air tools and power tools, including nail guns, power drills, power saws and banding equipment                                                                        

·        Must have experience with parcel and LTL shipping and receiving, manufacturing setting is preferred

·        Must have experience operating a forklift.  Certification for forklift operation will be required, if you don't already have one.                                                                            

Physical Requirements
·          
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance

·          Ability to routinely lift or move up to 75 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, using proper lifting techniques or other available resources, such as lifting/moving equipment or help from another employee

·        Must be able to stand for long periods of time and be able to bend, squat, twist and kneel

·        Comply with all safety procedures, including wearing steel-toed shoes daily, as well as wearing any other necessary PPE, based on tasks, which could include being clean-shaven for tight-fitting respirator use if cross-trained to paint or line
