Truss Plant Supervisor

Essential Functions

· Follow and establish production, inventory, and quality standards

· Determines work procedures, prepares work schedule, and expedites workflow

· Coordinate and work with managers and team members for timely production

· Oversees inspection of components to verify conformance to specifications

· Interpret and enforce company policies to workers

· Follow all safety procedures and ensures team does as well

· Ensure plant is clean and organized through housekeeping/5S procedures

· Manages safety training for team

· Maintains harmony among workers and resolves disputes

· Recommend measures to improve safety, production, quality control, and reduce costs

· Maintains time and production records



Required Education and Experience

· A high school education and a minimum of three years’ related experience

· Truss plant experience preferred

· Competent in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
