A national specialty building supply manufacturer is looking for a Logistics Support Specialist to join their growing team! The Logistics Support Specialist will provide logistics support to the Logistics Manager and Sales staff. The hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. No nights or weekends.
 
The Logistics Support Specialist will be responsible for:

• Providing outstanding logistics support
• Research and verify invoices
• Process Claims and Claim Payments.
• Investigate and troubleshoot customer service concerns related to shipments.
• Communicate effectively (verbal and written) with co-workers in Knoxville & other stores.
• Updating and/or completing international paperwork as required with appropriate Harmonized Tariff Codes.
• Obtaining International shipping quotes & processing international shipments.
• Maintaining detailed documentation in Navision, Excel & Internally, as necessary.
• Learn all aspects of the Logistics Department functions to be an excellent back-up and co-worker with the Logistics Manager

The Logistics Support Specialist will excel with:

• Associate's Degree preferred; equivalent KSA considered.
• Exceptional, professional communication skills, both verbal & written.
• Dependable to work a schedule of 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday - Friday.
• Aptitude for multi-tasking, an initiative for self-motivation, and keen problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy is essential.
• Professional demeanor, tidy appearance; friendly, outgoing personality.
• Computer, e-mail & data entry skills required. Proficiency in MS Excel & e-mail skills is mandatory.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen. Random drug tests may be done post-hire.
