3:50pm – 2am, Monday through Thursday(10-hour-shifts)
Die Cut OperatorJob Summary:This position is responsible for safe and efficient operation of the die cutter machine to ensure that cutlabel products meets job requirements to contribute towards the achievement of company goals andobjectives.Duties and Responsibilities:• Reviews label product job ticket requirements while interacting with other die cutting andproduction personnel.• Verifies that appropriate approvals for color, copy, coating, stock type, stock gauge and stock sizeare congruent with job ticket instructions and job components staged for use on press.• Reviews specific cutting, scoring, perforating or other related requirements.• Reviews condition of cutting dies.• Reports die cutting issues to the management.• Reviews coating K/O requirements.• Reviews pull sheets from press run to verify that job and quality requirements are consistently metduring the die cutting process.• Ensures that nonconforming material is appropriately segregated and tagged prior to leaving thePress.• Prepares press machines and performs general housekeeping activities.• Performs all duties in accordance with the Company’s safety and quality standards, policies, andpractices.• Other duties as assigned by management.Essential Functions:• Prepare Machine for start of shift, which include necessary materials and paperwork.• Find zero point, create spot sheets, and zone patch as necessary.• Monitor finishing products for quality standards.• Complete simple, routine maintenance on machine to keep machine operational.• Troubleshoot machinery for basic malfunctions and correct.• Complete all necessary paperwork required for machine operated on for the position.• Clean machines at end of shift to prepare for next workday or next shift.• Clean and stock work area in preparation for next workday or shift.• Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, orgraphic form.• Work overtime as needed to meet customers' needs. 

Physical Demands:• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision,peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus; these requirements can be metwith the use of corrective lenses.• Frequently stand, walk, reach, twist, bend, squat, kneel and lift and carry items weighing 70+pounds.Qualifications:• High School diploma, GED or equivalency required.• One year production or manufacturing experience, preferred.• Strong mechanical/match aptitude and skills.• Ability to work with minimal supervision.• Ability to understand technical written and verbal instructions.• Ability to accurately distinguish color variation❖ All candidates must be full vaccinated or willing to get vaccinated to be considered for thisposition. This will include receiving a negative COVID test result within 48 hours prior to officialstart date of this position if not fully vaccinated.
