LINCOLN TECH. WELDER/FABRICATOR $18.00-$20.00 An Hour Plus Weekly Bonus

Welder/Fabricator - basic experience required (starting immediately)

Form and function are our trademarks, great welds are an essential part of our aluminum product line. Experience welding aluminum, both tig and mig, would be optimal for this position. But we will train someone with the right personality and attitude who may only have basic welding experience. Although this is considered an entry level welding position, the more experience you have welding aluminum the better. 

Some fabrication experience is a plus for this position as well. You will be working on a new project every day. Primary projects to start including assembly of our Hand Wash Stations, Inflation Pumps, and some prep/finish work of our Cargo Gear. We will build on your experience to train you as a Raft Frame and Dry Box fabricator.

If you have interest in fabrication and willing to learn, you'll find this position very fulfilling. A positive attitude, being a quick learner, possessing good interpersonal and communication skills, along with self-motivation are qualities Down River is looking for in a new member of our production team. You must be able to lift 75 pounds and have some experience working in a production facility. Preference will be given to applicants that have experience working with metals, specifically aluminum fabrication. 

Responsibilities include welding aluminum pipe, diamond plate and sheets on our rowing frames, dry boxes, and an assortment of our aluminum products. If you're up for the challenge and willing to learn, you'll find this welding position very fulfilling.  Every welder who works for Down River becomes a better welder in this position. 

Starting compensation, entry-level starts at $17/hour. We also offer a weekly $100 bonus to each person on our production team for finishing projects on time.

This position is available to start immediately. Our production team works 4-day, 10-hour shifts. The position will join either our Monday-Thursday team or our Wednesday-Saturday team.
