Quality Manager M-F 8 AM – 5 PM Salary Position $50K annual
EXPERIENCE: Previous experience in quality assurance/quality control highly desired. Experience in a
manufacturing environment helpful.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION:
Responsible for quality decisions
Establish quality standards and test methods
Handles all government communications regarding AOPA/CMS
Completes management review of quality system (semi‐annually)
Oversee quality system which include design and development, acceptance activities/statistical
techniques, quality records, auditing, non‐conformances/corrective and preventative action,
validation (hardware), management representative statistical techniques, calibration
Oversee data entry and creation of production graphs
Maintain and enter information for measurement of quality and productivity standards
Requires completing research to provide solutions to manufacturing, safety, quality, purchasing,
and packaging to resolve issues relating to ingredient, process, and product specifications
Validates new software programs and processes prior to implementation
Process owner for all aspects of document control including revision and required approvals,
changes to procedures or product through companies ECO or CAN process
Process owner for calibration
Process owner for return program
Participate in annual inventory
Other projects and duties as assigned
Ability to show initiative with a high level of energy
Ability to maintain positive relationships with team members, vendors, and customers
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Working knowledge of basic computer programs
Ability to pay attention to detail and follow work instructions
Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Ability to oversee, lead and train staff
Decision making skills; Ability to handle difficult and confidential matters effectively and
professionally focusing on what is in the best interests of the company
