Harness Assembly Technician – Level II
Monday – Thursday 7am to4.30pm Friday 7am to 11am
$15-$18Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Reading of diagrams, assembly drawings and to accurately build product to specification.
- Build according to customer specifications and MSPs.
- Ensure product meets quality requirements.
· Use a variety of hand tools, gauges, heat guns and equipmentsuch as but not limited to hot tweezers, soldering irons, 2300 wire trimmers,etc.
· Prep and process wires (to include wire routing, heatshrinking, stripping, crimping, plug connectors and potting) for harnessassemblies.
· Perform inspections at various stages of production to IPC620 standards.
· Install and process solder sleeves to IPC requirements.
· Perform in process and final testing as required.
· Rework of non-conforming product.
· Solder and “degolding” of multiconductor connectors.
· Assistprocesses, workflow and build procedures.
· Maintaina clean work environment and adhere to industry regulations.
- Electronic and mechanical aptitude is a necessity.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to read and understand wire diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Must be able to accurately use measuring tools and perform basic mathematical functions.
- Must have keen attention to detail and quality.
- Must be able to lift up-to 30 pounds.
