Job title: Quality Assurance Coordinator

Location: Charlotte, NC

Shift: 9:00a- 5:30p

Position overview

  • Managing customer Quality Claims submitted by the Claims Team in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Combine with Distribution Center pickers, packers, fabric cutters, and samples/sewing team when the need arises for a quality concern to be remediated.
  • Compiling claims reporting and inspection reporting.
  • Conducts inbound inspections as submitted by Quality Assurance Manager.
  • Will assist with the Returns Team when quality questions or issues arise.
  • Providing accurate and effective customer service for all internal and external customers over the phone and via email in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
  • Accurate communication and organizational skills.
  • Recognizing internal and external (vendor) quality issues.
  • Escalating safety, quality, and any other issues that may arise during the operation.
  • Meet or exceed any productivity standards and metrics.
  • Participate in all provided training.
  • Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
  • Responsible for assisting with all Claims Team customer inspection submissions.
  • Responsible for quality-related interactions with Client Experience, Sales, Purchasing, Marketing, Samples/Sewing, and Distribution Teams.
  • Communicating with vendors as it relates to all quality-related issues.
  • Communication with customers concisely and professionally.
  • Communication between out-of-state office and Charlotte NC warehouse regularly.
  • Maintaining precise notes and photos.
  • Coordinating with the Design Team regarding quality interactions for current and new products.
  • Acts as Quality Assurance’s liaison in our Distribution facility.
  • Responds to requests via email, Teams Chat, and requests from Operations management.
  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Able to push and pull rolling carts and pallet jacks.
  • Able to stand/walk up to 8 hours per day.
  • Works closely with the Inventory Control Team to maintain an accurate account of all defective items.
  • Provides timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns.
  • Primary KPI’s:

o Satisfy annual goals as set by management.

o Execute an average of 2 claims a day, or 40 for a fiscal month.

o Execute 20 inbound inspections in a fiscal month.



Qualifications:

  • Highschool diploma or GED required.
  • Must be proficient with MS Office, especially in Excel and Outlook.
  • 2+ years’ experience in the quality assurance area preferred.
  • Prior experience in textiles and wallcoverings preferred.
  • Familiar with inventory and warehouse management concepts and systems.
  • Experience in Infor preferred.
