Summary:
Overall responsibilities for inspecting and packaging at the machines.
2nd Shift: 3pm to 11pm
Rate: $14.50 flat + $1.00 prime shift rate
3rd Shift: 11pm to 7am
Rate: $14.50 flat + $1.50 prime shift rate
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Serves in a multi-faceted role of operating, packing, and maintaining required supplies at
the machines to keep it producing flawlessly.
• The machine must produce parts at high levels of quality and efficiency.
• Must keep the machine at optimal operation capacity by communicating to team
Leader/supervisor/mechanic any issues and to ensure product quality.
• Must assure product quality requirements are met to assure functionality and cosmetically
attributes expected by customers.
• Records appropriate production reports.
• Keep the working environment area clean and safe.
• Working with Safety / Sanitation on supply orders for the plant floor.
• Supply the machine with raw materials (place the labels in the robot);
• Visual inspection of finished products (see that the plastic dish, cardboard or wood is of
quality and according to the quality standard required in business);
• Packing of finished products (after visual verification).
Educations and/or Experience & Skills:
• High school diploma or equivalent Not Required but would be an asset
• Prior line packer experience would be an asset.
• Ability to read, analyze, and follow directions. Must be able to speak, listen, and openly
communicate with team members and actively participate in team meetings.
• Must be able to work in a self-directed team environment.
• Ability to define and react to problems, color variations, small imperfections, collects data,
establish facts, and draw a valid conclusion and decision during a fairly fast pace production
level.
Requirements:
• Lift up to 40 lbs. on a frequent basis
• Push or pull with up to 50 lbs. of force on an occasional basis
• Stoop, kneel, climb or squat on an occasional basis
• Use hands to grip, pinch, handle, reach, or feel on a frequent basis
• Stand on a continuous basis and walk on a frequent basis
• Possess manual dexterity
