HVAC Technician / Installer

Snelling Staffing is very excited to be hiring commercial HVAC technicians for a great client located in Cedar Park, Texas.

Zip Code: This position will require going to various locations in and around Austin, Cedar Park, Round Rock, Buda, and other cities in the area. Primary work location will be in Austin, TX.

Pay: $25-$35/hour DOE

Duties:

• LV wiring to either mechanical rooms or roof penetrations to get the condensing units for the VRF equipment or any other equipment we’re doing on the roof.
• Running interlock communication wire will connect 2 non-polarity wires.
• Low Voltage BAS Controls (Building Automation Controls).
• Will need wire pulling for VRF equipment to start (variable refrigerant flow units) and/or LW wiring for HVAC equipment. Wiring will typically be basic 24VAC wiring.
• Normal open/closed contact wiring, LV conventional thermostat wiring, LV device wiring such as wiring relays, temp sensors, current sensors, 24VAC Damper Actuators, panel mounting, Etc…
• Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams

Requirements:

• Must understand and have experience with LV wiring, condensing units, VRF equipment, etc.
• Must be a high school graduate and have proper state licensure and relevant certificates.
• Pay will be determined by the level of retrofitting, new installation, and commercial HVAC technician experience.
• Must have own transportation and a valid driver's license with a clean MVR.
• Must be able to pass a background check and a drug screening.
