Warehouse Material Handler

Cambridge, MN HireQuest Direct is looking for Warehouse Material Handlers in North Central, MN. 

$16.50/hour for 1st shift, $18.50/hour for 3rd shift

**Hours**
Monday-Friday 7am-3pm for 1st shift
Sunday-Thursday 11pm-7am for 3rd shift

Responsibilities:

• Report any inventory errors to Warehouse Lead and Inventory Controller
• Ensure all trailers are properly chocked
• Move product from Finished Goods location into warehouse location
• Pull production from presses and locate into warehouse
• Inspect all powered industrial vehicles per check sheet, Report any issues or repairs needed to supervisor/lead
• Pull finished and stage per picklist for next day shipping
• Organize and arrange warehouse per molding schedule for production
• Load/unload trucks as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED
  
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Able to work overtime hours according to business need
• Forklift certification (or the ability to receive with company training)
• Problem solver; able to troubleshoot issues independently; a sense of accountability and sound professional judgement
• Experience managing projects
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Highly organized and able to work with and direct others
• Experience using MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Able to lift 55lbs. up to shoulder height daily on an ongoing basis without assistance
• Able to lift 50lbs. above head occasionally 
• Push, pull, bend, twist, and stoop on an ongoing basis
• Grip and hold parts and hand tools continuously (8 hours)
• Use miscellaneous hand tools including manual, pneumatic, and powered
• Ability to work with small parts down to a bolt size of 1/4" in diameter
• Good hand and wrist dexterity
• Visually inspect all parts
• Stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Must pass a drug screen  

Previous warehouse and/or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required
