Process Technician

HireQuest Direct in Cambridge, MN is looking for a Process Technician for a client in North Central, MN. 

$19.00/hour for 2nd shift, $20.00/hour for 3rd shift.
Both shifts are entry-level but with experience, pay rate will depend on that experience.

**Hours**
Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm for 2nd shift
Sunday-Thursday 11pm-7am for 3rd shift

Requirements

• Performs start up on standard process by following master cycles to make acceptable start up results
• Work with Machine Operators and Quality Team to ensure molded components meet requirements and make appropriate adjustments as needed with accurate documentation

• Troubleshoots molding process issues and responds to basic processing issues
• Purges material from molding machines
• Shuts down molding machines and established shutdown procedures
• Performs basic robot programming functions with proper documentation
• Validates set up is correct
• Assists with set up and mold transfers
• 1+ years experience in plastic injection molding

Physical Demands

• Able to lift 55 lbs. up to shoulder height daily on an on-going basis without assistance 
• Able to lift 50 lbs. above head occasionally
• Push, pull, bend, twist, and stoop on an on-going basis
• Grip and hold parts and hand tools continuously (8 hours)
• Good hand and wrist dexterity
• Stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Must be able to handle extremely heavy items with equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and hoist
• Crawl into tight spaces daily (1-2 hours)
• Use miscellaneous hand tools including manual, pneumatic, and powered

Prior Set Up Technician experience is preferred, but not required
