Material Handler

MaterialHandler Skills/Qualifications:

• Organizational Skills
• Ability to read and analyze information
• Adept at handling multiple complex tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency with prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlines
• Excellent time management
• Process improvement mindset
• Knowledge of inventory control
• Move materials manually and via forklift
• Identify raw material types
• Accurately count raw material being received
• Create receiving tags
• Prepare materials for shipping or storage to prevent damage

• Attention to detail - check tags for next work center for material delivery
• Achieve and maintain in-house forklift certification
• Daily maintenance on material handling equipment
• Perform cycle counting

 

Must be able to work a 10-hour shift
Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
Have reliable transportation 
Must be able to operate a sit-down forklift
HSD or equivalent
